VENICE BIENNIAL

Just came back from Venice, where I was so fortunate to be there the same time the biennial was going on. This is a penny hoar's dream, as mostly all of the exhibitions are free. And, if you're lucky (as I was), you'll find yourself with Venice's art night out, where all of the museums and exhibitions are open until midnight and ALL of them are f-r-e-e. This was amazing.

anton ginsburg's exhibition was my favorite. check his work here. his installations within the space were fantastic.

we ventured into an art school exhibition...

this exhibition was in dorsoduro, but the name of the artist escapes me. beautiful display of canvases.

outside of the exhibition in praise of doubt. this exhibition was stunning; no photographs were allowed inside, so i snapped a couple from the outside.

this exhibition was future pass. 

the dj was amazing.

i cannot remember the name of this artist either, but his works were stunning.

NOTES FROM ITALY

Ciao! I am summering in Italy, and I have some creeper pics. Being here during Pitti Uomo (the men's fashion fair), I find myself preferring menswear; there are few things that are "appropriate" for men to wear, so to see what they do with these stipulations is fantastic.

found this man in the boboli gardens in florence. orange shoes, yellow pants, pastel yellow button-up, blue jacket, leather briefcase, scruff, thick square sunglasses. #success

one of my professors. he wears this every day, and looks like a badass. beaded bracelets, bright red watch, chill as fuck backpack, and kickass glasses (which i failed to capture ;/ )

NOW, that's not to say that I haven't been snapping creeper pics of women...

this woman in siena fuckin' nailed it. all black, amazing. and those shoes. hello?

this mom is kicking ass with her two girls walking over the accademia bridge in venice. converses all around, matching kids, all black outfit with a v-neck tee.
